**EDUCATION**

Ph.D. in Mathematics, The City University of New York, Graduate Center, 2012

Dissertation: “Some Results on Large Cardinals and the Continuum Function”

Advisor: Prof. Joel D. Hamkins

M.S. in Mathematics, University of Virginia, 2004

B.S. in Mathematics, Virginia Commonwealth University, 2002

B.S. in Physics, Virginia Commonwealth University, 2002

**RESEARCH**

My research is in the field of set theory and involves using forcing

and large cardinals to prove that statements are independent of the

usual axioms of mathematics. A lot of my work has been concerned with

using the technique of forcing to arrange various behaviors of the

continuum function to hold while preserving large cardinals.
