Fall 2017

For overrides into STAT and OPER courses please visit Statistical Science and Operations Research course override request here: http://ssor.vcu.edu/courses/course-overrides/.

Class Full Notification Request: Please use this form to be notified if we are able to add additional seats to existing classes or add additional sections of a class. There is no guarantee that we will be able to grant additional space in any class.

If you are graduating Fall 2017, please email Ron Lloyd at rlloyd@vcu.edu with specific details of your situation.

Prerequisite Override Request: Please complete this form to request an override into a class if you receive a Prerequisite Not Met error when trying to register for a class in eServices (Banner) and you believe that you meet the prerequisite. There are three general reasons why you may have received this error.

Your Math Placement Test score is more than one year old. If this is the case, you will need to take the Math Placement Assessment. You may check your placement score in eService.
You took the prerequisite course at another College or University and the course has not been credited to you by the transfer office. Complete the form and attach a file showing successful completion of the prerequisite course to mathlab@vcu.edu. For the purposes of this override request, an unofficial transcript is acceptable. We will NOT be able to consider your request without this documentation. (To receive transfer credit for the course, you need to submit an official transcript to the Transfer Center.)
You took the class before, passed the class and are retaking the class to improve your grade. Complete the form and select “Yes” on the “Prerequistie on file at VCU”. In this case you do not need to attach a file. Please note that if you withdrew or failed the course, you need to satisfy the prerequisite by taking the Math Placement Assessment or by completing the prerequisite class.

Stretch Math 131 or Math 141 Request: Please complete this form to request an override into a “Stretch” section of Math 131 or Math 141. Review Fall 2017 Stretch Sections.
