Our department consists of 23 research faculty committed to excellence in research. Our research areas of strength include: Biomathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Logic, and Mathematics Education.
The department organizes three research seminars each week:
Analysis, Logic, and Physics (ALPS)
In addition, we host Colloquium seminars throughout the school year that are crafted to entice mathematicians at many different levels, from the general public to PhDs.
