Twists, Turns, and Trajectories: The Shape of Science Summer Camp

Audience: Middle school students

Explore the exciting world of math, physics, and data through hands-on experiments and creative challenges! Campers will launch into learning by taking measurements, collecting data, and uncovering patterns through activities. From geometry games to physical experiments, each day brings something new to discover. Campers will also build confidence by sharing their ideas and findings in a fun, supportive environment.

Information

Held in the STEM building on the VCU Campus; some activities will occur outside, weather permitting.

Interact with mathematicians and researchers in a welcoming collegiate environment.

No tuition or enrollment fees associated with this program.

Open to middle school students grades in rising grades 7–8 and/or ages 11–14.

Program is voluntary and non-compulsory.

Parental/legal guardian consent required.

If you are interested in participating, pre-register online here. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis until sessions are full. Enrollment packets are sent by email after pre-registering. Spots are guaranteed for the camp or the waitlist once a completed enrollment application for an eligible child is received. Enrollment confirmation will be sent to the contact email provided. Please enroll each child separately.
